How to Update Xhorse VVDI MB Software Version
- Open Xhorse VVDI MB software, if you run an old version the VVDI MB Software will show you a message (attention: VVDI MB Tool released newest version) and it will show you the latest software update features
- press the Update online tab at the top right to run the VVDI MB update
- Choose update software, it will show you two VVDI MB download links you can choose any one of them to get the latest software of vvdi MB tool downloaded
- after the VVDI MB software download is done it will be in .rar format
- right-click at the file and press extract here, it will ask for a password which is 123456
- now the latest software is downloaded and ready to use
- the latest Xhorse VVDI MB manual will be auto-downloaded with the software
How to Update VVDI MB Firmware Using Xhorse Upgrade kit
After downloading the latest VVDI MB software you will get an error message (error – Can’t find VVDI-MB Tool, Reconnect VVDI-MB and try again), that’s because the VVDI MB run in old firmware version and must be updated, it is necessary to have the latest version of Xhorse VVDI Upgrade kit before you run VVDI MB firmware update, because the update will fail if you don’t have the latest version
- Open X-horse VVDI upgrade kit.exe (You should run the Xhorse upgrade kit as administrator)
- Select the optional interface to update to the latest version (VVDI MB)
- Press the find Device button, the VVDI MB software will show you the device serial number, hardware version, your current firmware version & the last released firmware version
- press upgrade button
- Don't shut down your PC or disconnect the USB cable while updating the device, it will take 2 -> 10 minutes to finish the VVDI MB upgrade, and now the Xhorse VVDI MB device is upgraded and ready to use

- Open the Xhorse VVDI MB software
- Connect the Mercedes W204 ELV with the VVDI Mercedes programmer you can use a Mercedes steering lock tester such as: ABK-4545
- Click on VVDI Mercedes ESL tools tab
- Chose Mercedes W204, W207, W212
- Chose reading Mercedes ESL by OBD
- click read Mercedes ESL data
- then click check Mercedes ESL damage for W204
- if it shows Mercedes ESL is damaged then you have to replace it with one of these options
- if it shows Mercedes ELV is working that means the Mercedes ESL motor is damaged and it should be replaced

- Press Renew ECU / Gearbox button
- Choose ISM Module /Â Click read /Â click Get Erase pass

- now the ISM is virgenised and can be programmed to another vehicle
How to Update Xhorse VVDI MB Software Version
- Open Xhorse VVDI MB software, if you run an old version the VVDI MB Software will show you a message (attention: VVDI MB Tool released newest version) and it will show you the latest software update features
- press the Update online tab at the top right to run the VVDI MB update
- Choose update software, it will show you two VVDI MB download links you can choose any one of them to get the latest software of vvdi MB tool downloaded
- after the VVDI MB software download is done it will be in .rar format
- right-click at the file and press extract here, it will ask for a password which is 123456
- now the latest software is downloaded and ready to use
- the latest Xhorse VVDI MB manual will be auto-downloaded with the software
How to Update VVDI MB Firmware Using Xhorse Upgrade kit
After downloading the latest VVDI MB software you will get an error message (error – Can’t find VVDI-MB Tool, Reconnect VVDI-MB and try again), that’s because the VVDI MB run in old firmware version and must be updated, it is necessary to have the latest version of Xhorse VVDI Upgrade kit before you run VVDI MB firmware update, because the update will fail if you don’t have the latest version- Open X-horse VVDI upgrade kit.exe (You should run the Xhorse upgrade kit as administrator)
- Select the optional interface to update to the latest version (VVDI MB)
- Press the find Device button, the VVDI MB software will show you the device serial number, hardware version, your current firmware version & the last released firmware version
- press upgrade button
- Don't shut down your PC or disconnect the USB cable while updating the device, it will take 2 -> 10 minutes to finish the VVDI MB upgrade, and now the Xhorse VVDI MB device is upgraded and ready to use
