Ford Steering Lock Emulator For Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy 2014+ Plug & Play

Ford Mondeo ESCL emulator CD4 platform overview:

The Ford Mondeo ESCL emulator is used to emulate the Ford ESCL unit, it is compatible with Ford CD4 platform cars.

The Ford CD4 ESCL emulator supports Ford vehicles starting from 2014 and above with an SCL number that looks like AV6N-3F880-Kx.

The Ford CD4 SCL supports Ford vehicles with a CD4 platform smart key system, the Ford ESCL connector has 4 pins, usually colored blue.

The Ford ESL emulator is plug & play, no Ford ESCL alignment is necessary, just plug the Ford ELV emulator and start the vehicle.

How to install the Ford SCL emulator:

• Stop the car.
• Connect the Ford SCL emulator to the SCL plug.
• Note that the original SCL is powered only when there is a request for status or command for open or close.
• Push the START button, the GREEN LED mist blink, of the RED LED, blinked then there is an error you have to clear it by a diagnostic tool or you can reset the car by plugging out the battery and plugging it in again
• Repeat the last step until the GREEN LED blinks.
• The emulator is successfully installed 

Note: that LOCK action is performed with delay: ignition is switched OFF, doors closed and locked, car folds mirrors (if there is such functionality), then LOCK action is executed.
UNLOCK action is usually executed when the car is unlocked or IGN is switched on. By pushing the START button SCL status is checked and verified again even if already open. All these actions must power on SCL, corresponding status LED must go on.

Ford CD4 ESL emulator light behavior:

• Red: SCL is locked mode.
• Green: SCL is in unlocked mode.
