With this device you can erase the EEPROM memory in old type steering locks (ESL): (W202, 208, 210)

In most models from 1996 to 2000, The ESL is unlocking automatically if you erase its memory.
So you can use it for fast unlocking when you need to evacuate the car.

That erased ESL will be comparable to any other MERCEDES Benz car which uses the same old type ESL in place of the damaged one.

After such changes, you don't have to authorize this ESL with a dealer device at all.
